American Catholic Radio Presents:

Living Faith

Producer Judy Zarick's guest is Mark Friedman, who is highly regarded throughout the United States as a religious educator, author, composer and speaker. He works currently in pastoral ministry at two parishes in Cincinnati, Ohio. He reflects on how the new English translation of the Roman Missal changes will affect the music we sing at Mass.

Ask a Franciscan

Franciscan Father Greg Friedman, O.F.M., answers questions: How can a person married outside the Church and now divorced return to the practice of Catholicism? Is the Holy Spirit or the Magisterium the authoritative teacher of the Church?

Exploring Our Faith

Producer John Feister's guest is Monsignor Anthony F. Sherman, Executive Director of the U.S. Bishops’ "Secretariat for Divine Worship."  Located in Washington, D.C., the Secretariat carries out the work of the bishops’ Committee on Divine Worship, and oversees publication of liturgical books and texts, provides leadership in liturgical training and sacramental instruction, and serves as a resource on the liturgy for bishops and others in Church leadership.  Monsignor Sherman has a doctorate in sacred theology from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and has written on the subjects of death and dying, and Baptism preparation.  He is currently involved in leading workshops around the United States to prepare for priests and other liturgical leaders to implement the Third Edition of the Roman Missal, containing the official prayers for Mass, which have been newly translated.
