2nd Annual 24 Hours for the Lord celebrated worldwide
In his Lenten message, Pope Francis called for the 2nd annual 24 Hours for the Lord to be held Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th. This year's theme is God Rich in Mercy. Please join Bishop Bradley in celebrating this time of reflection and penance. In solidarity with the Holy Father's celebration, consider receiving the sacrament of reconciliation and taking advantage of adoration and benediction opportunities.

As our Holy Father said, "Do not be afraid of Confession!...[W]hen one finishes Confession one leaves free, grand, beautiful, forgiven, candid, happy. This is the beauty of Confession!... Jesus is there, and Jesus is more benevolent than priests. Jesus receives you; He receives you with so much love. Be courageous and go to Confession!" Pope Francis also called for this time to be an invitation to fallen-away Catholics to "come home" to the church, encouraging even those who haven't gone to confession in several years (or decades) to return and start fresh.
