You are invited to join St. Stanislaus Church in Dorr, MI to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the parish on the weekend of October 7th and 8th 2017.
On Saturday October 7th, a 4:30 pm vigil Mass with traditional Polish hymns will be celebrated by Bishop James Murray. A complimentary dinner will follow with grilled kielbasa dogs, kapusta, homemade Polish desserts and more. After dinner, music and polka dancing provided by the Bill Gruscinski Band will continue until 10:30 pm.
On Sunday, October 8th, the anniversary date of the church dedication, a 10:30 am Mass with traditional Polish hymns will be celebrated by Bishop Paul Bradley. After Mass, a traditional dinner will be served in the parish hall and includes chicken, potatoes, golabki, pierogi, czarnina and many Polish desserts including packi and kruscicki.
Tickets are $10 per person or $30 for a family of three or more. The Ampol Aires will provide music and polka dancing from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The Malbork Polish Folk Dance Group will perform at 3:00 pm. Beer tent with cash bar will be available at both celebrations.
