Intimacy with God in our Later Years

Aging is a complex task. Often you hear from older members of society, “Don’t get old!” The fact is everyone ages and the limitations of our aging bodies present us with new spiritual challenges. This workshop will look at ways reality can be a blessing and not a burden as ‘we grow in wisdom, age, and grace.’ Through an interactive process, topics will include:

• Seeing life with a deep sense of gratitude

• Recognizing the later years as a gift to society

• Embracing inner stillness

• Understanding death as a part of life

• Finding God in loneliness

• Developing simplicity
