Project Rachel Clinical Training Day, co-sponsored by CCWM, Archdiocese of Detroit and the diocese of Kalamazoo, Lansing and Saginaw. Project Rachel Clinical Training Day will take place from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (at 2:00 p.m. there is a priests-only session)

This virtual event will feature presentations addressing specific areas of healing after abortion, including trauma, shame, post-abortion stress, grief and how faith plays a role in healing. The day will also include a specific session for priests, stories from women and men who found healing through Project Rachel, and an overview of the Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat model.
Intended Audience: Who is encouraged to Attend? Clergy, Religious, Social Workers, Therapists, counselors, parish nurses, pregnancy crisis center staff, pastoral care workers, spiritual directors, youth and young adult ministry workers and other interested individuals.
St. Stanislaus Parish in Dorr, MI is having our annual Sweetheart Soup Dinner on Sunday, February 14, 2021. It is a pre-ordered, pre-paid, take out only dinner. Meal includes 1 quart of your choice of soup, green salad, freshly baked bread and a choice of dessert. Soup choices are Czarnina, New England Clam Chowder, Chicken Noodle, Broccoli Cheese, Veggie Beef Barley or Fire House Potato. Dessert choice of Apple Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, Cheesecake or Red Velvet Cake. Everything is made from scratch right here in our parish hall. Price is $12.00 per meal.
You may purchase a single quart of soup for $10.00.
We also have whole pies for sale for $12.00 each. Choice of whole pie is Apple Pie, Coconut Cream Pie or Lemon Meringue Pie. Order forms can be downloaded from our church website at http://www.st-stanschurch.net . Mail your order form and payment (make checks payable to St. Stanislaus Parish) to parish office. Deadline for orders is Sunday, February 8th. Curbside Pickup on Sunday, February 14th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
