The Annual Musicians Blessing

The Annual Musicians Blessing at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, on Wednesday, September 17 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Bishop David Walkowiak, presiding.

Every member of the music ministry from every parish in the diocese is encouraged to come and renew their commitment to the music ministry: music directors, choir members, cantors, instrumentalists, and pastors, too!

The blessing takes place in the context of sung evening prayer, and uses a form similar to the renewal of baptismal promises. In this case, participants renew their commitment using their talents in service through the parish music ministry.
