Mini Biographies:
Suzi Furtwangler Married for 35 years, mother to four sons and grandmother to six, Suzi Furtwangler has a masters degree from Aquinas College in elementary education and two endorsements in Art Education and Learning Disabilities. Currently she is finishing a Catholic School Leadership program through Creighton University. She is nestled into the Saint Thomas community as Principal of the parish school. As an artist, she draws inspiration from the faith life of the school community, and her love of children. Suzi is an ardent supporter of the benefits of a Catholic Education and the unique blessings that the Catholic school community provides for families.

Betsy Edgerton is married to husband Van and has three adult children. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (1982) and certification in Early Childhood (1999). Her passion for Catholic education began with her own education at Saint Thomas the Apostle School. Her children also attended Saint Thomas and it was during their middle school years that she joined the faculty of Saint Thomas as the Early Childhood Program Director/Teacher. A role she embraced for fifteen years. Betsy is now the Development and Outreach Coordinator for Saint Thomas focusing on providing programming, activities, and opportunities for new and returning families to build a stronger faith based community inclusive of all.
