A bestselling international author series by Fr. Albert Haase entitled “Catching Fire, Becoming Flame” is being offered to the general public at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Parish. The five DVD-based programs begin Wednesday, October 7 at 7 p.m. in the Parish Family Center, 901 Columbus Street in Grand Haven and continue on Wednesday evenings: October 14 and 28 and November 4 and 11. Catching Fire, Becoming Flame: A Guide for Spiritual Transformation features six important aspects of the spiritual life, including: 1. The spiritual journey as a process of transformation 2. Having a healthy image of God 3. Principles of prayer 4. The Examen 5. Decision-making and discernment 6. The challenge of forgiveness
