St. Francis Church is partnering with the Muskegon Community College Center for Experiential Learning to travel to South Bend, IN and LaGrange County, IN to explore in depth the University of Notre Dame and the famous Amish community of Shipshewana, IN.
The University of Notre Dame is a Catholic research university. In French, Notre Dame du Lac means “Our Lady of the Lake” and refers to the university's patron saint, the Virgin Mary. Join us on a tour of this historic campus; experience a place where faith is treasured and diverse traditions shared and respected.
