This Catholic Information Center at Cathedral Square in Grand Rapids will offer this presentation that will explore the basics of Investing and its role in retirement and estate planning. Investing is a carefully planned and prepared approach to managing and accumulating money. Investment planning is about discipline and patience. But it doesn’t have to be difficult. We’ll start by discussing some fundamental investment concepts. Then review available investment options, consider some general investment strategies and finally discuss how someone might allocate investment dollars. As people of faith, how does a company’s social responsibility fit into our investment portfolio? Where can we find out about a company’s social, moral and ethical positions?
