Learn how to make soup and strudel with Sister Mary Paul Moller. With fleischbruhe (soup stock) as the base, this is not the beef noodle soup that you would serve on a starched white tablecloth set with china and crystal. You will find this beef noodle soup in an Alpen pass in a small Gasthau with scrubbed white pine tables, earthenware, and a pot-bellied stove glowing in the corner as a blizzard howls outside. And the apfelstrudel? These will be some of the best calories you ever put in your mouth!
