(The Rorate Mass is a Northern European tradition in honor of Our Lady. The Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form will be the Votive Mass of Our Lady in Advent. The Mass is sung entirely with the church filled with hundreds of candles and is preceded by a candlelight procession into the church. The name of the Mass (Rorate) is taken from the first words of the Introit of the Mass, 'Drop down dew, ye heavens, from above, and let the clouds rain the just".
